Children from Big Lagoon Learning Center celebrated Christmas at Southwest Branch Library Story Time today. Christmas songs were sung and Lisa Billings read ‘The Night Before Christmas’ by Clement Moore, and the children made little snowmen with the help of the staff.
Children took home Santa bags containing little toys, and coloring books from The Friends of the Southwest Branch Library, and a delicious snack cake donated from our local Little Debbie distributor Napoleon Cage.

The best part was in the beginning when the children presented Lisa and Melanie with a snowman cutouts on which each child decorated and printed their name. It was hung around the tree and is now on display inside the library.
The next Wednesday story time for Big Lagoon Learning Center is January 18th.
