Happy Valentine’s Day, Neighbors!
I, for one, am happy that Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow earlier this month. Winter is almost over! I look forward to biking, walking and boating and being outside in the sunshine.
By now, you should have received the letter I sent out to all residents about our obligations to maintain our property, under the Association Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions. Once again, I encourage you to look at your yard, house and drive critically with the specific Guidance I referenced, in mind. At the end of the month, when the Management Company conducts their monthly drive through, they will be paying attention to the condition of our homes and yards. They will use the criteria established in the Guidance by which to cite violations.
It might be a good time to visit the Home Depot or Lowes for weed and feed. Tune up the lawn mower and weed the flower beds. And the bushes…pull out the dead and spent shrubs. Dead trees leaning over? What about that driveway? Is it a lovely shade of moldy green or black? What about the bricks and roof?
We have alot of great maintenance vendors that work in Heron’s Forest. If you need a specialist, let us all know. I am sure one of us can refer you to their favorites.
Next posting, I will discuss the violation letter and corrective action process.
See you around the neighborhood!!
