The Landscape Committee has noticed while walking the trails that there are areas where people are obviously dumping hedge and brush being removed from their yards. This creates a hazard for fire, conceals snakes near the path and just plain makes the trails unattractive. This happens from time to time and it is NOW TIME for another campaign to elevate community awareness that the trails and common area green space are not for dumping — ECUA provides weekly pickup of hedge/tree trimmings and undergrowth brush being cleared by homeowners from their lots.
If you are interested in clearing areas near your yard, please contact our Landscape Committee to see what is allowed — some areas are ok to clean and manage and some areas are to be left as is — you can check the community maps as well. Good intentions are welcome but may need to be approved.
