Herons Forest resident Phil Duryea and his friend Price Legg are scheduled for a Civil War program at Southwest Branch Library on Thursday, May 2nd at 5:30 PM.
Come and meet a civil war soldier! Families are invited to join Price Legg as he dons his Confederate reenactor’s uniform. Phil Duryea, Volunteer Coordinator for the National Naval Aviation Museum, will share artifacts from his extensive personal collection of Civil War memorabilia and authentic maps of the era. These descendants from opposing sides will be at the Southwest Branch Library on Thursday, May 2nd at 5:30 PM and at the Main Library on Thursday, May 30th at 5:30 PM. Seating is limited.
