Children came to the Southwest Branch Library dressed in their pajamas and after shaking their sillies out, were served cookies and milk provided by The Friends of the SWB Library; Christmas cakes were donated by our local Little Debbie distributor Napoleon Cage. Lisa Robertson read ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas’ by Clement Moore and ‘Oh What a Christmas’ by Michael Garland, where all the sleepy barn animals help Santa guide his sleigh after Rudolph and all the reindeer fly off into the night when their reins break off. The evening ended with everyone singing ‘Jingle Bells’.
The Southwest Branch Library is supported by their Friends organization whose main income is from book sales in the Friends Boutique. Gently used Book, CD, DVD donations are greatly needed and appreciated and accepted during hours of operation. Call 850-453-7780 for more information.
